Space Zombies! and more
There were big happenings in gaming last week. The Pizza Games and Zombies Gauntlet (with prizes!!) was announced, and Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster shipped.
Studio McVey and Cool Mini or Not teamed up in June 2012 and brought you the newest game in the space horror genre. Nano-tech alien viruses making zombies on space stations and in spaceships? Yes, please!
The game ended up making $951,254 by the end of the Kickstarter campaign.
Some friends of mine chipped in and got Sedition Wars for me as a birthday present. It showed up last Tuesday, and I promptly started assembly.
Grendlr. Large and nasty

The Zombie Apocalypse Continues With Two More Attacks In Miami And Louisiana
This is Brandon De Leon, he tried to eat a police officer.
According to The NY Daily News:
After cops put him in a police cruiser, Brandon De Leon, 21, slammed his head against the plexiglass divider and shouted at officers, “I’m going to eat you,” NBC Miami reported.
He then growled, gnashed his teeth and tried to bite the hand of an officer attempting to treat his head wounds.
Cops placed restraints on De Leon and fit him with a Hannibal Lecter-style bite mask, the report said.
Cops say the suspect was high on bath salts, as well as numerous other drugs. Also, he was drunk off Four Loko because obviously he was.
This is Carl Jacquneaux, he tried to eat a man’s face.
According to KATC:
“Police say 43-year-old Carl Jacquneaux was upset over a domestic issue. [The victim] was working in his front yard when Jacquneaux showed up at his house and attacked him.
That’s when [the victim] said he sprayed wasp spray in Jacquneaux’s face to try and stop the attack.
During the attack, the suspect bit a chunk of the victim’s face off,” said Scott Assistant Police Chief, Kert Thomas.
Of course, he was also high on bath salts.
